Welcome to MEET LIVE, a live streaming and video sharing platform in South East Asia that allows users to buy and sell shopping vouchers. These User Agreement, Terms of Use, and Policies (“Agreement”) governs your use of MEET LIVE (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including its website, mobile applications, and any other services we offer (collectively referred to as the “Services”). By accessing or using our Platform, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other guidelines or policies we may implement from time to time.

 

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT IN THIS TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING THE PLATFORM.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OLD TO USE THE PLATFORM AND/OR OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH US. IF YOU ARE BELOW 13 YEARS OLD, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS THE PLATFORM UNLESS YOU ARE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN (WHICH CONSENT TO THIS AGREEMENT). IF YOU DO NOT HAVE CONSENT FROM YOUR PARENT(S) OR LEGAL GUARDIAN(S), YOU MUST NOT USE OR ACCESS THIS PLATFORM AND/OR OUR SERVICES. UNDER THE AGE OF MAJORITY ACT 1971, IF YOU ARE BELOW 13 YEARS OLD, YOU ARE STILL A MINOR IN MALAYSIA AND AN AGREEMENT ENTERED BY A MINOR IS VOID AND UNENFORCEABLE.

FOR ANY PURCHASE MADE ON MEET LIVE, YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. IF YOU ARE BELOW 18 YEARS OLD, YOU MAY ONLY MAKE A PURCHASE WITH THE FULL KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT OF YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, WHO MUST AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TRANSACTION, INCLUDING ANY PAYMENTS, LIABILITIES, OR OBLIGATIONS ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUCH CONSENT, YOU MUST NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASES ON THE PLATFORM. MEET LIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR VOID ANY TRANSACTION MADE BY USERS WHO FAIL TO MEET THESE AGE CONSENT REQUIREMENTS.

Introduction

MEET LIVE is an online platform that allows users to:

  • Stream live video and share recorded video content.
  • Interact with other users via messaging, comments, and reactions.
  • Buy and sell shopping vouchers through the app.
  • Access a variety of entertainment, educational, and shopping content.

This Agreement governs your use of the platform, including but not limited to the features, content, and services provided.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Services. We reserve the right to update, modify, or change these terms at any time, and any such changes will be effective upon posting the revised terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Services after the changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, you may not use the Services.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of MEET LIVE, such as live streaming or purchasing shopping vouchers, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.By doing so, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password.
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You are responsible for notifying us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised or if there is any unauthorized access. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use MEET LIVE in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and compliant with this Agreement. You agree not to:

  • Post, upload, or share content that violates any laws, regulations, or third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, and privacy rights).
  • Engage in harassment, hate speech, bullying, or abusive behavior towards other users.
  • Share obscene, explicit, or offensive content, including nudity and pornography (unless permitted in specific cases as per our guidelines).
  • Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes, including but not limited to spamming, phishing, or scamming.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers in any way.

MEET LIVE reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules and may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who engage in inappropriate conduct.

5. User Content and Community Guidelines

5.1 User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, share, or transmit via the Platform (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant MEET LIVE a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content.
  • The User Content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights or violate the rights of any third party.
  • The User Content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Agreement.

5.2 Prohibited Content

You agree not to post, share, or distribute any content that:

  • Violates or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Promotes hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or violence.
  • Contains explicit, pornographic, or adult content.
  • Is defamatory, false, or misleading.
  • Promotes illegal activities, substance abuse, or dangerous behavior.
  • Violates the privacy or rights of any individual.
  • Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these guidelines or is deemed harmful to the community at our discretion.

6. Live Streaming, Video Sharing and Interactions

6.1 Live Streaming

If you wish to engage in live streaming via MEET LIVE, you agree to comply with the following rules:

· You will not broadcast content that violates this Agreement or our community standards.

· You will respect the rights of others, including avoiding harassment, spamming, or disruptive behavior.

· You will adhere to any additional guidelines or restrictions for live streaming as determined by MEET LIVE.

6.2 Video Sharing

As a user, you may engage in live streaming and share recorded videos via MEET LIVE. You agree to:

· Be responsible for the content you broadcast or share.

· Comply with community guidelines for live streaming, which may include content restrictions and rules for interactivity (e.g., chat moderation).

· Understand that MEET LIVE may record and store live streams for safety, moderation, and other operational purposes.

· Follow any special conditions or features related to live streaming, including any specific guidelines or technical requirements.

6.3 User Interactions

You may be able to interact with other users through comments, messages, or other forms of communication. You agree to:

· Treat others with respect and refrain from abusive, threatening, or harmful language.

· Not solicit or promote any illegal activities or harmful behavior.

· Not engage in activities such as bullying, harassment, or the spreading of misinformation.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Platform Content

All content provided by MEET LIVE, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of MEET LIVE or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to MEET LIVE, including live streams, videos, photos, and comments. By uploading content, you grant MEET LIVE a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, distribute, modify, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

8. Privacy and Data Collection

By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may collect data such as your device information, location, and activity on the Platform to provide and improve the Services. For more detailed information, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. Terms and Conditions of Sale

If the Platform offers features such as tips, gifts, or in-app purchases, you may have the opportunity to monetize your content. In such cases:

· You must comply with any applicable laws regarding the receipt and use of virtual goods or payments.

· You agree that any earnings, rewards, or in-app purchases are subject to the Platform’s terms and may be revoked or suspended if you violate this Agreement.

10. Payment and Fees

MEET LIVE may charge fees for certain premium features, such as purchasing shopping vouchers, gifting in live streams, or subscribing to content creators. By using paid features, you agree to:

· Provide accurate payment information.

· Be responsible for any applicable taxes related to your purchases.

· MEET LIVE may modify its pricing or introduce new fees at its discretion.

Payments for any purchases are processed via third-party payment processors, and you agree to comply with their terms.

11. Shopping Vouchers and Seller Policy

MEET LIVE allows users to buy and sell shopping vouchers via the platform. If you wish to become a seller, you agree to:

· Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the sale of goods or services, including those related to consumer protection, tax collection, and e-commerce regulations.

· Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and availability information.

· Not engage in fraudulent sales or misrepresentation of the vouchers you are selling.

· Follow any additional seller policies or requirements set by MEET LIVE.

MEET LIVE disclaims any responsibility for transactions conducted outside of our platform between buyers and sellers, but we may mediate disputes or investigate claims of fraud, misconduct, or other violations of this Agreement.

12. Return and Refund Policy

At MEET LIVE, we are committed to providing a positive user experience. This Return and Refund Policy applies to any purchases made on the Platform, including but not limited to virtual goods, in-app purchases, and premium features. Please read this section carefully to understand your rights regarding returns and refunds.

12.1 Virtual Goods and In-App Purchases

Due to the nature of digital content, all purchases of virtual goods, in-app purchases, or other non-physical products are final and non-refundable, this includes any credits, gifts, or other virtual items purchased through the Platform.

Once a virtual gift is sent or purchased, it cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, any issues arising from accidental purchases, change of mind, or dissatisfaction with the service.

By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this non-refund policy. We encourage you to review your transaction carefully before completing your purchase.

12.2 Shopping Voucher Purchases

12.2.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available under the following circumstances:

  • Seller’s Product Does Not Conform to the Voucher Description: If the product you receive is not the same as what is described or indicated in the voucher.
  • Seller’s Product is Out of Stock: If the seller is unable to fulfill the product order due to stock unavailability.
  • Seller’s Shop Does Not Exist: If the seller’s shop has been closed or is no longer available at the time of purchase or redemption.
  • Value Mismatch: If the actual value of the product is less than the amount stated on the voucher.
  • Other Valid Issues: Any other issue where the seller fails to fulfill the terms as promised on the voucher

 

12.2.2 Refund Process

If you experience any of the issues listed above and wish to request a refund, you may follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer support team via [email protected] within 7 days of your voucher purchase or redemption.
  • Step 2: Provide all necessary details, including a description of the issue, your voucher code, order details, and any supporting evidence (e.g., product images, communication with the seller, etc.).
  • Step 3: Our team will review your case, and if your issue qualifies for a refund under this policy, we will initiate a refund to your account.

12.2.3 Refund Method

If your refund request is approved, the value of the voucher will be credited back to your account as platform points. These points can be used for future purchases on the platform. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.

12.2.4 Important Notes

  • Non-Refundable Cases: Refunds will not be issued in cases of user error, such as purchasing the wrong voucher or redeeming a voucher incorrectly.
  • Refund Eligibility Period: Refund requests must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase or product redemption. After this period, we will no longer be able to process refunds.
  • Voucher Validity: Once a voucher is redeemed or partially used, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
  • Multiple Vouchers: If you have used multiple vouchers in a single transaction, and one or more of the vouchers are eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed for the affected voucher(s) only.

 

12.2.5 Disclaimers

  • Platform Limitations: Our platform acts solely as an intermediary, providing users with access to vouchers from sellers. We are not directly responsible for the fulfillment of seller obligations, and refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of individual sellers. We reserve the right to deny refunds or take further action in cases where fraudulent or abusive claims are detected.

13. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any organization.
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, or other deceptive practices.
  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Platform’s operation or the experience of other users.

 

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated any of these terms.

14. Suspension and Termination

MEET LIVE reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time and for any reason, including if we believe you have violated this Agreement, engaged in prohibited conduct, or violated any laws or regulations. Upon termination, your right to access the Services will immediately cease, and any User Content may be removed from the Platform.

15. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

MEET LIVE makes no warranties or representations regarding the availability, quality, or reliability of the Service. The platform is provided “as is,” and you use it at your own risk.

MEET LIVE is not responsible for any:

  • Loss of data or content.
  • Unauthorized access to your account.
  • Disputes or transactions between users.
  • Third-party services or websites linked to the Service.

In no event will MEET LIVE be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MEET LIVE, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates, from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of this Agreement.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between you and MEET LIVE will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction where MEET LIVE operates. You agree to resolve any claims individually, without resorting to class action proceedings.

 

18. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement, along with any policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between you and MEET LIVE.
  • Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: A failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
