Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Meet Live (“Platform”) and any merchant, vendor, or seller who registers to sell shopping vouchers, physical products, digital products (where permitted), or services through Meet Shop (“Merchant” or “you”).
By registering, upgrading your account, listing products, selling vouchers, and/or offering services on Meet Shop, you agree to comply with these Terms and all attached policies, annexes, and procedures. Please read them carefully.
Meet Live provides a platform that enables merchants to list, promote, and sell:
- Shopping vouchers redeemable in-store
- Physical retail products
- Services (e.g., beauty services, workshops, repair services)
- Product bundles, promotional items, or limited-time offers
Depending on the listing type, users may:
- Purchase a voucher and redeem it physically
- Purchase products directly and collect them in-store
- Purchase services and redeem them using the merchant’s unique QR code
These Terms apply to all categories of merchants using Meet Live.
Interpretation
- “Meet Live” refers to the platform connecting users and merchants.
- “Meet Shop” refers to the marketplace section where merchants can list vouchers, products, or services.
- “Voucher” refers to a redeemable coupon that entitles the user to a product or service.
- “Product” refers to any physical goods sold by the merchant.
- “Service” refers to any non-physical offering redeemable on Meet Live or at the merchant’s location.
- “User” refers to individuals purchasing products, services, or vouchers.
- “Merchant Account” refers to the approved seller account on Meet Shop.
Services Provided by Meet Live
1. Merchant Registration & Approval
All merchants must register and upgrade their account by providing:
Seller Age Requirement & Verification
All sellers on the Meet Live Shop must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
To ensure compliance and platform safety, KYC or KYB verification is required before a seller account can be activated.
- Company registration (SSM)
- Director IC/passport & verification
- Retail shop details and address
- Product/service categories
- Bank account for settlement
- Store signage photo
- Business details and contact information
Meet Live will review and approve or reject applications.
2. Listing of Vouchers, Products & Services
Approved merchants may list:
- Shopping vouchers
- Physical products
- Services
Each listing must include:
- Accurate description
- Price
- Image(s)
- Validity period (for vouchers/services)
- Collection/redemption method
- Applicable terms
Redemption / Collection
Depending on the listing type:
- Voucher/Service: User scans merchant’s unique QR code at the store
- Physical Product: User collects item in-store (no shipping unless approved)
- Service Appointment: User shows voucher or booking details to merchant
Sales & Settlement
- Merchant must fulfill the product/service/voucher as listed.
- Once redeemed or confirmed collected, the sale value is credited to the merchant’s Meet Live account.
- Settlement occurs once a week.
- Payouts are processed within 1–3 working days.
Out-of-Stock, Discontinued, or Unavailable Items
Merchant must immediately:
- Remove the product/voucher
- Update the listing
- Notify users if previously sold items are affected
No Shipping (For physical products, please refer to “Meet Live Shipping Policy”)
By default, Meet Shop operates on in-store redemption or collection only unless a special arrangement is approved by Meet Live.
Merchant’s Obligations
1. Product/Service Integrity
Merchant must ensure:
- Actual product/service matches the listing
- No misleading images, pricing, or descriptions
2. Compliance With Laws
Merchant must comply with all applicable laws including:
- Consumer protection
- Business licensing
- Health & safety
- Data protection
- Product safety
3. Accuracy of Information
Merchant is responsible for ensuring that:
- All listing details are correct
- Prices are up-to-date
- Outdated products/vouchers are removed promptly
4. Collaboration for Promotions
Merchants may participate in Meet Live promotions or campaigns, subject to separate agreement.
5. Prohibited Products
Merchants may not list:

- Alcohol
- Tobacco
- Weapons
- Drugs
- Counterfeits
- Hazardous items
- Pornographic materials
- Gambling products
- Financial instruments
- Stolen goods
Meet Live may remove such listings without notice.
Merchant Representations & Warranties
Merchant confirms that:
- All submitted information is true and complete
- Merchant has legal rights to sell listed products/services
- Listings comply with all relevant laws
- Merchant will not engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activities
Fees & Taxes
1. Merchant Fee
Meet Live charges a minimum of 7% per completed sale (voucher, product, or service).
Fee is deducted before settlement.
2. Taxes
Merchant is solely responsible for:
- Sales tax
- VAT
- SST
- Any other applicable tax obligations
3. No Application Fee
Applying as a merchant is free.
Privacy
1. Data Collection
Meet Live collects merchant data as part of account creation and operations.
2. Merchant Handling of Customer Data
Merchant must:
- Protect user data
- Comply with PDPA and relevant laws
- Not misuse user information
Termination
1. By Meet Live
Meet Live may suspend or terminate merchant’s account for:
- Policy violations
- Illegal activities
- Fraudulent behavior
- Repeated complaints
2. By Merchant
Merchant may request account termination at any time.
3. Consequences
Merchant must:
- Fulfill all outstanding redemptions
- Resolve disputes
- Understand access to Meet Shop will be revoked
Liability
1. Limitation of Liability
Meet Live is not liable for:
- Product quality
- Merchant’s actions
- Losses arising from merchant operations
- Any indirect or consequential damages
2. Indemnification
Merchant agrees to indemnify Meet Live for any claims arising from:
- Merchant’s products
- Services
- Listings
- Misconduct or violations
Miscellaneous
- Meet Live may amend Terms at any time
- Changes take effect immediately upon posting
- Governed by the laws of the operating jurisdiction
- Disputes resolved through arbitration or mediation
- Force Majeure applies to uncontrollable events
ANNEX A — Vendor / Retailer Boarding Policies & Procedures
Meet Live enforces strict onboarding measures to ensure vendors are legitimate, compliant, and safe for users. All vendors must pass the following processes:
1. Application Submission
Vendor must submit the required documents:
- Company registration certificate (SSM)
- Director identification (IC/passport)
- Bank account verification
- Retail store address & signage photo
- Contact information
- Business nature and product categories
2. Due Diligence / KYC (Know Your Customer)
Meet Live will conduct:
- Identity verification of directors
- Business activity review
- Store location assessment
- Background check for potential risks (fraud, illegal activities, sanctions, etc.)
3. Risk Classification
Vendors are categorized as:
- Low Risk — Common retail (food, fashion, services)
- Medium Risk — High-value goods, digital services
- High Risk — Restricted industries or high chargeback rate
High-risk vendors may be rejected or required to provide additional documentation.
4. Approval or Rejection
Meet Live reserves the right to:
- Approve with full account access
- Request additional documents
- Approve conditionally
- Reject without obligation to provide reasons
5. Post-Onboarding Monitoring
- Random audits
- Purchase and redemption checks
- Monitoring for complaints or fraud patterns
ANNEX B — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) & Prohibited List
The following cannot be sold, listed, advertised, or promoted in any form on Meet Live or Meet Shop:
1. Illegal or Controlled Substances: Drugs, controlled medications, products containing illegal chemicals
2. Adult Content: Pornography, sexually explicit materials, escort services
3. Tobacco Products: Cigarettes, cigars, vape products
4. Alcohol: Beer, wine, spirits
5. Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives intended as weapons
6. Counterfeit or Unauthorized Goods: Fake branded items, replicas, pirated content
7. Hazardous or Restricted Goods: Chemicals, toxic items, flammable goods without proper licensing
8. Stolen Goods: Any items without lawful ownership proof.
9. Gambling or Betting: Lottery tickets, betting services, casino-related vouchers
10. Financial Products: Loans, credit offers, financial instruments, crypto trading packages
Meet Live may remove any listing violating this AUP without notice.
ANNEX C — Transaction Monitoring Policies & Procedures
Meet Live actively monitors all voucher transactions to protect users and prevent fraud.
1. Monitoring Objectives
- Detect suspicious behavior
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse
- Ensure compliance with laws and platform rules
2. Monitoring Methods
- Automated System Flags
- Unusual voucher sales spikes
- Excessive cancellations
- Rapid redemptions after purchase
- Redemption outside shop operating hours
- Manual Review
- Complaint-based investigation
- Random audits
- Store visits for high-risk vendors
3. Suspicious Transaction Red Flags
- Vouchers sold with no real product
- Fake redemption attempts
- Users reporting inability to redeem
- High refund or dispute rates
- Merchants manipulating pricing
4. Actions Taken
- Warning and education
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent ban
- Reporting to relevant authorities (if required)
ANNEX D — Cardholder (User) Contract / T&Cs (Updated for Vouchers & Products)
These terms apply to users purchasing vouchers or products on Meet Live.
1. Voucher or Product Purchase
Users must ensure they read all details before purchasing:
- Voucher description
- Product description
- Price, terms, validity, and redemption requirements
All purchases are final unless the merchant fails to deliver the stated goods, services, or products.
2. Redemption (For Vouchers Only)
Users must visit the merchant’s physical store and scan the merchant’s QR code to redeem vouchers.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
3. Product Collection (For Products Sold Directly)
For users purchasing physical products (non-voucher items):
- Collection must be done at the merchant’s designated physical location, unless otherwise stated.
- Users must show their purchase confirmation (QR code or order ID).
- Products not collected after a reasonable period may be considered forfeited based on merchant policy.
4. Expiry
- Vouchers: Expired vouchers are not refundable unless stated otherwise by the merchant.
- Products: Products do not carry expiry unless specified (e.g., food, consumables).
5. Prohibited User Conduct
Users must not:
- Manipulate voucher usage
- Commit fraud or chargeback abuse
- Harass or threaten merchants
- Attempt to obtain items without redemption/collection
- Circumvent Meet Live or merchant rules
- Use multiple accounts to exploit promotions
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
6. Limitation of Liability
Meet Live is not responsible for:
- Merchant’s product quality
- Merchant’s goods or services quality
- Misuse, damage, or loss arising after product collection
- Expired vouchers or uncollected products
- Any dispute between merchant and user (Meet Live acts only as an intermediary)
Users agree to directly resolve disputes with merchants whenever applicable.
By agreeing to these Terms, the Merchant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all the terms, conditions, and obligations set forth by Meet Live for selling vouchers on Meet Shop.
